Matt Brown

Vice President

Matt is a Vice President at Copper Run, where he focuses on buy-side mergers and acquisitions in the lower middle market. He leads business development, strategic planning, and a diverse portfolio of client engagements across a wide range of industries. He brings deep experience guiding corporate development for privately held companies pursuing long-term strategic acquisitions, private equity groups executing buy-and-build strategies, and publicly traded companies seeking inorganic growth.

Prior to joining Copper Run, Matt served as Vice President and Program Manager within Bank of America’s Global Corporate & Investment Banking division in Charlotte, NC. He began his career as a consultant with Carlisle & Gallagher Consulting Group, where he focused on data analytics, process improvement, and innovation for the banking industry. Originally from Portland, Maine, Matt enjoys backpacking through national forests and parks, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two children.
